Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi Kampüsü Yurtlar Bölgesi’nde yer alan Longson Kız ve Erkek Öğrenci Yurtları 2005-2006 Akademik Yılında hizmete girmiştir.’’Longson Yurdu toplam 630 öğrenci kapasitesine sahiptir. 11.000 m² alana sahip olup A-B-C olmak üzere toplam üç ayrı bloktan oluşmaktadır.’’303 adet 21m² normal oda’’6 adet 27m² suit oda’’4 adet 30m² suit oda’’2 adet 22.5m² suit oda’’Depreme dayanıklı binalar, taşıyıcı sistem, çelik karkas olarak kaplamalıdır. Duvar malzemeleri ses ve ısı izolasyon özellikli malzemelerden yapılmıştır.
